Raymond Burton Collins, Jr.

Mr. Raymond Burton Collins, Jr., age 62, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Collins was born December 26, 1953 in Surry County to Raymond Burton Collins, Sr. and Samantha Jane Medley.

Mr. Collins attended Gid Branch Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Dean Collins.

Survivors include: his sons, Adam Collins and wife Melissa of Thurmond and Joshua Collins of Thurmond; grandchildren, Donavan Collins and Barbara Collins.

Funeral services will held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Gid Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Royal, Rev. Bobby Lyles and Rev. Adam Collins officiating. Burial will follow at White Rock Methodist Church. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Gid Branch Baptist Church.
