James B. Luffman, Jr.

Mr. James Bradford Luffman, Jr., age 85, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016. Mr. Luffman was born March 8, 1930 in Wilkes County to James Bradford and Mammie Love Luffman.

Mr. Luffman was a member of Little Elkin Baptist Church and retired from Elkin Furniture.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Franklin Luffman and Step-Mother, Bretta Luffman.

Survivors include: his wife Bennie Bernice Luffman of the home; sons, Roger Luffman and wife Brenda of Boonville, Clyde Luffman and fiancé Rita King of Ronda and Michael Luffman of Winston Salem; brother, David Luffman and wife Peggy of Apex; sister, Pansy Byrd and husband Mack of Ronda; grandchildren, Jamie Luffman Brown, Holly Hutchens, Brandon Luffman, Heather Luffman, Deanna Schipman, Stephanie Murphy, Jeanette Hill, Robert Luffman, Kristin Bruce and Kaley Luffman; foster grandchildren, Jennifer Casstevens, Willie Allen and Charlie-Ann Allen; seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Little Elkin Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Adams and Rev. Elliott Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
