Grafton Blaine Roberts

Mr. Grafton Blaine Roberts, age 89, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mr. Roberts was born September 2, 1926 in Wilkes County to H.C. and Bessie Sparks Roberts Mr. Roberts was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a retired farmer and a member of Union Baptist Church in Hamptonville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Grafton Michael Roberts; grandson, Dion E. Campbell; granddaughter, Connie Trivette Foster; brothers, Owen Roberts, Linville Roberts and H.C. “Tootie” Roberts, Jr.; and sisters, Zelda Money, Catherine Moose  and Rumell Gregory. Survivors include his wife of 71 years Zelle Williams Roberts of the home; daughters, Muriel Roberts of Chesnee, SC and Jane Roberts Campbell and her husband Alfred of Duncan, SC; daughter-in-law, Debbie Roberts of Florida; grandchildren, Chris Trivette, Blaine Trivette, Cathy Trivette, Adrian Campbell, Casey Roberts and Shana Roberts Klingler and great grandchildren, Matthew Scruggs, Justin Scruggs, Callie Scruggs, Emily Justis, Andrea Michelle Campbell, Daisy Trivette, and Grafton Blaine Trivette. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church in Hamptonville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:30-3:00 p.m. at the church.  The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church, 760 Union Baptist Church Road, Hamptonville, NC 27020 or Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
