Hamptonville, Mr. Justin Wayne Russell, age 27, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Justin was born August 24, 1988 in Yadkin County to Buddy Russell and Tonia Stanley Jones. Justin served in the Army National Guard. He had an unforgettable laugh and personality and always enjoyed joking around. There was never a dull moment with him around and he had a smile that would light up any room. His daughter was his pride and joy and he always got his strength from his sister. Justin never met a stranger and loved everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rocky Russell. Survivors include: his father, Buddy Russell of Elkin; mother, Tonia Jones and husband Ricky of Yadkinville; step-father, Mutt Beamer of Hamptonville; daughter, Cheyenne Marie Russell; paternal grandmother, Lynda Russell of Elkin; maternal grandmother, Janice Stanley of Jonesville; sister, Kelsea Beamer of Yadkinville; uncles, Chris Russell, Bronson Russell and wife Tiffany, Kasius Stanley and wife Amanda; aunt, Angie Talley and husband Jason; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Thanks To Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Jeremy Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery with full military honors provided by Memorial Honor Guard Post 9436 Pilot Mountain and Post 2019 Mount Airy. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the church. The family request memorials be made to Cheyenne Russell, C/O BB&T Bank, P.O. Box 488, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
