Mrs. Winnie Mae Sale Pardue, age 82, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Chatham Nursing & Rehab. Mrs. Pardue was born January 23, 1933 in Wilkes County to Arthur F. and Bertha Mathis Sale. Mrs. Pardue was retired from Chatham Manufacturing and a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Pardue; son, Rickey Pardue; three sisters and four brothers. Survivors include: her sons, Danny Pardue and wife Ann Key of Lewisville and Greg Pardue and wife Ramona of Jonesville; daughter, Debbie Shaw and husband David of Jonesville; brother-in-law, Coy Haynes of Ronda; sister-in-law, Betsy E. Dickens of W. Jefferson; grandchildren, Melody Barker and John Phipps; Dickie Shaw and wife Bridget, Will Shaw, Emma Pardue, Calvin Pardue and Pierre Begay; great-grandchildren, Tyler Barker and Sid Barker. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Fall Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Don Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Cranberry Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. The family requests memorials be made to NC Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27360.
