Mrs. Patsy Jean Norman, age 76, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Norman was born March 5, 1939 in Grayson County, VA to Charlie and Elizabeth Waller Anders. Mrs. Norman was a member of Mining Ridge Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Norman; daughter, Vicky Norman and brother, Mike Anders. Survivors include: her daughters, Pam Wiles and husband Jimmy of Ronda and Kathy McCann and husband Eddie of N. Wilkesboro; brother, Terry Anders and wife Gail of Fries, VA; sister, Nancy Beasley of Austinsville, VA; sister-in-law, Melva Jo Anders of Fries, VA; grandchildren, Amber Norman, Justin Rhoades, Adam Rhoades, Mylee Rhoades and Montana McCann; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, October 2, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Mining Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith Wood officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 688 M. Bridge Street, Elkin, NC 28621.
