Mr. Dalford Glen Pinnix, age 72, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Pinnix was born August 13, 1943 in Surry County to Ralph Glen and Mae AnnaLee Johnson Pinnix. Mr. Pinnix was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jane Snyder Pinnix and second wife, Nancy Ann Hanks Pinnix. Survivors include: his daughter, Janet Jordan and husband Tony of State Road; sisters, Nancy Barlow McKnight and husband Joe of State Road and Kay Pinnix Cheek and husband Garvey Reece, Jr. of State Road; grandchildren, Olivia Jane Jordan and Ryan Anthony Jordan. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Attaway officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
