Nancy Gale Russell

August 27, 1950 — July 22, 2015

Mrs. Nancy Gale Combs Russell, age 64, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Russell was born August 27, 1950 in Iredell County to George Vance and Mae Miller Combs. Survivors include: her daughters, Stephanie Holbrook and husband Allen of State Road and Amber Johnson and husband Caleb of Wilkesboro; brothers, Ronnie Combs of Roaring River, Donnie Combs and wife Fonda of Roaring River and David Combs and wife Sherry of Ronda; sister, Tammy Combs of Roaring River; granddaughter, Olivia Holbrook; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at White Plains Baptist Church with Pastor William Souther officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to White Plains Baptist Church, 950 White Plains Rd. Roaring River, NC 28669.
