Mrs. Carolyn Vivian Benfield Hinson, age 63, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015. Mrs. Hinson was born June 1, 1952 in Wilkes County to Rex and Imogene Alexander Benfield. Survivors include: her husband, Steven Ricky Hinson of the home; daughter, Cindy Astin and husband Norman of Wytheville, VA.; brother, Rex Benfield of Ronda; sister, Sue Weaver of Hays; three grandchildren, Ashley McGuire, Laura McGuire and Jacob Astin. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
