Mr. Ernest Everette Payseur, age 58, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015. Mr. Payseur was born July 15, 1956 in Gastonia, NC to Ernest A. and Viola Lee Mullano Payseur. Mr. Payseur was an avid outdoorsman, loved to try new things and was a bee keeper. He was a retired construction worker and a veteran of the US Navy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edwin Payseur and Larry Payseur and sister, Judy Payseur. Survivors include: his wife, Mary J. Payseur of the home; daughters, Betty Miller of Fort Lawn, SC and Crystal Dawn Payseur of Rock Hill, SC; step-son, Christian McKinley Charles of State Road; step-daughter, Theresia Marie Freeman of Pfafftown; brothers, Robert Payseur of Greensboro and Tony Payseur of South Carolina; grandchildren, Sam, Piper, Wyatt, Uriha, Justin and Paige five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Bill Spurling officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
