Mrs. Phyllis Ann Chandler, age 76, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at Willowbrook Rehab & Care Center. Mrs. Chandler was born May 19, 1938 in Yadkin County to John Phillip and Tomasine Martin Eskridge. Mrs. Chandler was a member of Grace Full Gospel. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and her dog Shadow. Words cannot fully express the love and care Mrs. Chandler displayed to her family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Chandler and step-son, Eric Chandler. Survivors include: her sons, Rick Longworth and wife Janeen, Doug Longworth and wife Kim, Todd Longworth and wife Debbie and Cliff Longworth and wife Kathy; daughters, Ramona Dellinger and husband Brian and Amy Longworth; step-sons, Terry Chandler and Michael Chandler; brother, Mike Eskridge and wife Peggy; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, May 24, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Mrs. Chandler's home 227 Oak Street, Jonesville, NC 28642. The family requests memorials be made to Yadkin County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1652, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
