Mary Maxine Tuttle

Mrs. Mary Maxine Tuttle, age 83, passed away Friday, May 01, 2015 at Pruitt Healthcare. Mrs. Tuttle was born March 21, 1932 in Yadkin County to Richard and Ethel Sale Swaim. Mrs. Tuttle was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hamptonville and retired from Vaughn Bassett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn Tuttle; brother, Arvil Swaim and sister, Betty Hemric. Survivors include her son, Larry Tuttle of Dobson; grandson, Mark Lane and wife Jennifer of Elkin and great-grandchildren, Madison Lane and Macy Lane. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hamptonville with Rev. Joe Southard and Rev. Larry Lefler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family requests memorials be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 8087 Windsor Rd. Hamptonville, NC 27020.
