Mr. Tim Monroe Brown, Jr., age 57, passed away, Monday, March 9, 2015. Mr. Brown was born August 22, 1957 in Richmond County to Tim M. Sr. and Betty Hatcher Brown. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Malloy Brown. Survivors include: his mother, Betty H. McDaniel; sons, J.T. Brown and Jennifer Hatcher of King and Timmy Brown of East Bend; daughter, Jacqueline Brown of Laurinburg; step-son, Benjamin Edwards of East Bend; step-daughter, Jennifer Bowman and husband William of Boonville and Kim Crews of Yadkinville; brother, Michael McDaniel and wife Rosa of Laurinburg; sister, Lisa Brown of Rockingham; three grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Bill Greenwood officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:30-8:30 at Elkin Funeral Service.
