Mr. Carl Edgar Moss, age 95, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Brian Center in Brevard. Mr. Moss was born April 3, 1919 in Cabarrus County. Mr. Moss was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII. Survivors include: Son, James Manning and his wife Bridget of Boonville, grandchildren, Amy O'Donnell and Christian Parker; friends, Elizabeth Manning of Bluefield West, Virginia and Nikki and Milton Manning of Traphill. The family held a memorial service on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Elkin Funeral Service. The family would like to thank the staff of the Brian Center for their care. The family suggests that memorials be made to Yadkin VFW Post 10346, 14509 Elkin Hwy 268, Ronda, NC 28670.
