Mrs. Willie Young Stull

December 10, 1923 — December 13, 2014

Mrs. Willie Young Stull, age 91, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Chatham Nursing Center. Mrs. Stull was born December 10, 1923 in Surry County to Columbus Washington and Lula Jane McBride Young. Mrs. Stull was a homemaker and a veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Cynthia Stull Johnson, her brothers, Charlie Young, Carl Young, Jim Young, John Young, her sisters, Myrtle Brannon, Mae Dockery, Emma Underwood. Survivors include: her husband George Raymond Stull of the home, a son, George Raymond Stull Jr. and wife Katherine of Rock Hill, SC, two daughters, Janice Stull Reeve and husband Ed of Jacksonville, FL and Donna Stull Roche of Elkin, a brother, Frank Young and wife Millie of Elkin, a sister Jo Fargason of Houston, TX. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Hollywood Cemetery with Chaplin Buddy Rhodes officiating. Full military honors will be provided by VFW Post 10346 and the National Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Chatham Nursing Center, 700 Johnson Ridge Rd. Elkin, NC 28621.
