Ms. Lillian Lucille Warren, age 83, passed away, Thursday, November 6, 2014. Mrs. Warren was born August 22, 1931 in Alleghany County to Blaine and America Spicer Warren. Ms. Warren was a member of Roaring Gap Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Sam Warren and sister, Nina W. Holbrook. Survivors include: nieces, Lena Holbrook Parthers of Aberdeen, MD, Kathy Hayes and husband Alton of Jonesville, Mary Lean Day of Thurmond and Carolyn Simmons and husband Jerry of Thurmond; nephew, Gary Holbrook and wife Sylvia of Gastonia. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Roaring Gap Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Simmons officiating. Ms. Warren will lie-in-state from 8:00 a.m-12:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. The family would like to thank the staff of Pruitt Healthcare for their care.
