Eva R. Lilly

July 14, 1921 — October 26, 2014

Mrs. Eva Rada Lilly, age 93, passed away, Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Chatham Nursing Center. Mrs. Lilly was born July 14, 1921 in Mercer County, West Virginia to John and Maude Ellison Croy. Mrs. Lilly was a member of West Elkin Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by nine siblings. Survivors include: her son, Gary Jones and wife Suzanne of Lake Wales, FLA; daughter, Barbara Smith and husband James of Midlothian, VA; grandchildren, Phillip Jones, Karla Janaski, Wesley Smith and Stephen Smith; great-grandchildren, Zoe Annabel Smith, Christopher Jones, Ryan Jones, Benjamin Jones, Joshua Janaski and Madison Janaski. A memorial service will be conducted Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Jordan and Rev. Wayne Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to West Elkin Baptist Church, 102 Reeves Lane, Elkin, NC 28621. The family would like to thank special friends; Frances Harris and Edna Hall for their love and care.
