Mrs. Betty Sue "Suzie" Gillispie, age 55, passed away, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Gillispie was born May 9, 1959 in West Virginia to Harold and Herma Jo Lockard Poffenbarger. Mrs. Gillispie attended Ronda First Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Jim Gillispie of the home; son, Kenna Gillispie of Boonville; step-son, James R. Gillispie III of Browns Creek, WV; daughters, Amy Jo Gillispie of Traphill and Jamie Sue Gillispie of Mountain View; step-daughter, Amy Marie Gillispie of St. Albens, WV; brother, Travis Wolf and wife Linda of Columbus, OH; sisters, Katha Jarrell of Delbarton, WV and Patricia Rowley and husband Jesse of Nitro, WV; ten grandchildren. The family will hold a private memorial service.
