Mr. Roger Lee Henry, age 58, passed away, September 22, 2014. Mr. Henry was born January 2, 1956 in Forsyth County to Robert Lee and Cassie Virginia Brooks Henry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Sonya Henry and brother, Jimmy Henry. Survivors include: his wife, Robin Mabe Henry of Wilkesboro; step-father, Boyd Kyle Bray of Thurmond; daughter, Crystal Dawn Henry of Boonville; step-children, Dustin Osborne of Wilkesboro and Ashley Osborne of Wilkesboro; brother, Randy Dale Bray and wife Cathie of State Road; sister, Jo Ann Bray Harris and husband Julius of Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Destiny Storm Lyons of State Road and Jasmine Raye Jones of Elkin; step-grandchildren, Arrianna Tharington and Eshey Tharington. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Charity Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brian Cardwell and Rev. Mickey Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
