Gary Daniel Pardue

November 18, 1953 — September 21, 2014

Mr. Gary Daniel Pardue, age 60, passed away, Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Pardue was born November 18, 1953 in Wilkes County to James M. and Betty Shepherd Pardue. Mr. Pardue was a loving father, grandfather and loved the outdoors. He also attended Cool Springs Baptist Church. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step-father, George William "Bill" Davidson. Survivors include: daughters, Tara Norman and husband Matthew of Elkin and Megan Rafidi and husband James of Cornelius; mother, Betty S. Davidson; brothers, Daryl Davidson of Elkin, Carlton Davidson and wife Nancy of Myrtle Beach and Kevin Pardue and wife Terry of Raleigh; sister, Tina Hodges and husband Tony of Moorsville; grandchildren, Bryce Norman, Kinley Norman, Luka Rafidi and Alexa Rafidi. A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Cool Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Carlton Davidson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. The family would like to thank the staff of Joan & Howard Woltz and the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice for their care.
