Mr. Lowell Eugene Schuyler, age 58 passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Mr. Schuyler was born September 13, 1955 in Surry County to Caldwell and Avis Mayes Schuyler. Mr. Schuyler retired from Vulcan Material and was a grower for Perdue Farms. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: daughters, Angel Ramey, Amber Peeples and Brittany Schuyler; brother, Trent Schuyler; sister, Edith Cockerham; grandchildren, Connor Schuyler, Taylor Schuyler and Alexis Peeples; special friend, Alicia Layell. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. John Attaway officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made to Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd. Dobson, NC 27017.
