Mr. Roby "R.J." James Wilcox, age 35, passed away April 25, 2014. Mr. Wilcox was born November 30, 1978 to Roby D. and Phyllis Anderson Wilcox. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roby Wilcox. Survivors include: parents, Roby D. and Phyllis Wilcox of Elkin; son, Branton James Wilcox of Elkin; daughter, Sydney Nicole Wilcox; sister, Melissa Ann Wilcox of Sylva; grandmothers, Bertha Mae Wilcox of Elkin and Martha Jean Anderson of Elkin. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel wil Rev. Jody Bewley officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
