Earnest Blevins

January 12, 1940 — March 8, 2014

Mr. Earnest Jack Blevins, age 74, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Blevins was born January 12, 1940 in Raleigh, West Virginia to Harley Vaughn and Dema Lou Testerman Blevins. Mr. Blevins was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and a member of wise one's at St. Stephen Catholic Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Earnest Blevins, Jr. Survivors include: his wife, Diane B. Blevins of the home; son, Daniel Blevins and wife April of Ocoee, FL; step-daughter, Michelle Wahrmann and husband Courtney; daughter-in-Law, Mary Blevins of Ocoee, FL; brothers, Howard Blevins of Odd, WV, Jerry Blevins of ODD, WV and Larry Blevins of Chicago; sisters, Nadine Ross of WV and Patsy Blevins of Odd, WV; Grandchildren, Paul L. Fluet, Jr. and Amanda Cooper, Lochlan, Ethan, Aalieigh; great-grandchild, Jackson Cooper. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Father John D. Hanic and Sister Janis McQuade SSJ officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Stephen Catholic Church, 101 Hawthorne Rd. Elkin, NC 28621.
