Christine Dianne Cosby, 45, of New York, NY, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Her Graveside service will be held Sunday, March 9, 2014 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 McConnell Parkway. Chrysti was born November 21, 1968 in Charleston, SC, daughter of Patricia Rentz Cosby and the late William F. Cosby . She received a BA degree from Wake Forest University and Master's degrees from Xavier University and New York University. Christine was a Teacher at Manhattan East School for Arts and Academics with the New York City School System. Chrysti was a dedicated educator and coach. She was a mentor and touched the lives of many students. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Cosby of State Road, NC; brother, William F. Cosby, Jr. of NJ; nephew, Brandon Rentz Cosby of Leland, NC; two special aunts, Jean Colson of Charleston, SC and Virginia Orton of Charlotte, NC and a number of special cousins.
