Ronda Mr. John Kenneth Ham, 84, passed away Saturday February 22, 2014. Mr. Ham was born in Wilkes County to Edgar A. and Jettie Sparks Ham. Mr. Ham retired from Coca-Cola -Northwest Vending and was a member of Maple Springs United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Vestal Ham. Survivors include, a sister, Ann H. Calloway of Ronda, a nephew, Ronald D. Calloway of Ronda, two great nephews, Keith Calloway of King, Kevin Calloway of State Road. Funeral services will be held Monday February 24, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Maple Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Rex Cranfill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 pm at Elkin Funeral Service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Mr. Ham's caregivers Zebb Potts and Mary Bowling to the love and care they gave to Mr. Ham during his illness.
