Mrs. Sally Miller Walters, age 80 passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Walters born May 10, 1933 in Wilkes County to Newland and Georgia Sheets Miller. Mrs. Walters was a member of Parkway Gardens Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Walters and brother, Charles Miller. Survivors include: daughters, Gina Walters Shore of State Road and Sonia Walters Hauser and husband Randall of Lake Park; granddaughter, Taylor Shore. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Gwyn Kilby, Rev. Charles Lethcoe and Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. The family request memorials be made to Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 401 Technology Lane Suite 200 Mt. Airy, NC 27030. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Woltz Hospice Home and Mrs. Allison Spagnoletti, Donna Hutchens, Kim Monney and the doctors and staff at Elkin Pediatric & Adult Medicine for their love and care during this difficult time.
