Flossie Irene Bunn

September 14, 1935 — January 21, 2014

Ms. Flossie Irene Bunn, age 78 was a gentle loving soul. She loved all people and led a happy, bubbly life and was known as "Nanny" to the grandchildren (her nieces and nephews). She attended church with her cousin Jerry and Ann Lamm. They made sure she knew all about Jesus for she talked to Jesus a lot. As her diabetes worsened she lost her leg, she was on dialysis for eleven years and began to have other complications. She called out to God and he took her home on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Ms. Bunn was born September 14, 1935 in Wilson County to Sam and Lossie Murray Bunn. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: brother, Carl Rex Bunn and wife Janet of Angier; nieces and nephews, Jenny B. Gardner and husband Bobby, John C. Bunn, Jackie B. Milem and husband Joseph; great-nieces and nephews, Jessica Simpson and husband Adam, Bethany Gardner, Micah Gardner, Josiah Gardner and Luke Milem; great-great nephews, Hagan Simpson and Wesan Simpson.
