Geneva Sidden

May 24, 1918 — January 10, 2014

Mrs. Geneva Callaway Sidden, age 95, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014. Mrs. Sidden was born May 24, 1918 in Surry County to James H. and Sarah Ann Cockerham Callaway. Mrs. Sidden was a member of Mountain Park Baptist Church where she also served as the choir director for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Sidden. Survivors include: several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Mountain Park Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Childs officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family request memorials may be made to Mountain Park Baptist Church Music Department, 419 Mountain Park Road, State Road, NC 28676. The family would like to thank the staff of Elkin Healthcare and United Hospice for their loving care.
