Lois Stacy

November 27, 1924 — December 29, 2013

Mrs. Lois P. Stacy, age 90, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Hugh Chatham Nursing Center. Mrs. Stacy was born November 27, 1923 in Alleghany County to James and Rachel Swaim Pinnix. Mrs. Stacy was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Boyd Stacy and fourteen siblings. Survivors include: special nephew, Byron Kirkman of Ronda and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Baldwin and Rev. Dennis Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family request that memorials be made to Hugh Chatham Nursing Center, 700 Johnson Ridge Rd. Elkin, NC 28621. The family would like to thank the staff of Hugh Chatham Nursing Center for the loving care they gave Mrs. Stacy.
