Mrs. Maxi Harris, age 65 passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Harris was born September 23, 1948 in Sampson County to Ralph Edward & Dixie Williams Flynn. Mrs. Harris was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Ray Key Boseman; brother, Harry Flynn. Survivors include:her husband, Clay Harris of the home; sons, William Henry Key, Jr. of Washington and Thomas Edward Key of Little Washington, NC; stepdaughter, Rebecca Harris Benge and husband Phillip of Elkin; brothers, Ike Flynn of Charlotte, Reuben Flynn of Fayetteville; sisters, Evelyn Price of Clinton, Nora Mae Holmes of Autryville, Shirley Pope of Autryville and Betty Jo Teasley of Oxford, NC , three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. John Attaway and Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery fund 109 Mount Pleasant Church Rd. State Road, NC 28676. The family would like to thank the staff at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home for their loving care.
