Mrs. Hoyland Harris Walls, age 95, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Glenbridge Health and Rehab in Boone. She was born June 23, 1918 in Surry County to Henry Grady Harris and Mamie Johnson Harris. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrance Walls. Mrs. Walls was a member of First Baptist Church of Elkin and was retired from Chatham Manufacturing Company. All services are private.
