Tommy Stimpson

Mr. Tommy Ray Stimpson , age 71 passed away Monday, September 2, 2013. Mr. Stimpson was born July 31, 1942 in Surry County to Glenn and Ann Ray Baker Stimpson. Mr. Stimpson was a member of Little Elkin Baptist Church. He was also a member of Elkin Masonic Lodge # 454 and served as Master Mason in 2011. Mr. Stimpson was also an Honorary Member of Traphill Masonic Lodge #453. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his son, William Todd Stimpson. Survivors include: his wife; Margie Stimpson of the home, daughter; Melissa Stimpson Coe and husband Robbie of State Road, his mother; Ann Stimpson of Yadkinville brother; Jimmy Stimpson of Yadkinville, grandchildren; Lakan, Cass, Beth, Jordan, Amber, Josh, Philip and Halee, and his Canine companion Pooh. A Graveside service will be conducted Thursday September 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Elkin Baptist Church with Rev. Gwyn Anderson and Elkin Masonic Lodge # 454 officiating. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Masonic Oxford Orphanage 600 College Street. Oxford, NC 27565.
