Mrs. Sandra Kay Richardson, age 59 passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Mrs. Richardson was born March, 8, 1954 in Wilkes County to James and Alma Lee Billings Moore. Mrs. Richardson was a member of East Elkin Full Gospel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Richardson and brother, William Moore. Survivors include: son, Brian Bryant of Elkin, brother; Ronnie Lee Moore of Wilkesboro, sisters; Karen Steelman of Hamptonville and Kathy Wood and husband David of Traphill. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Knobbs Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Childress. Burial will follow in the church cemetery . The family will receive friends Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Elkin Funeral Service from 6-8:00 p.m.
