Mrs. Margaret Kizzy Marion, age 85 passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Mrs. Marion was born August 24, 1927 in Wilkes County to Connie and Vernie Jolly Pruitt. Mrs. Marion was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter; Frankie Ann Pruitt Miller, sisters; Coralee Watson, Laura Sue Luffman, Mae Hillard, Viola Poplin and Mary Pruitt, brothers; Garnie Pruitt and Junior Pruitt. Survivors include: son; Ray Marion and wife Elaine of Mocksville, brother; Clay Pruitt of Elkin, Sister; Kathleen Simmons of Elkin, grandchildren; Robin, Tonya, Darrell, Adam Marion and Sarah Hobson and husband Justin. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, August 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Sara Scruggs officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Elkin Funeral Service.
