Mrs. Mildred Moran Jolley, age 90 passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013. Mrs. Jolley was born March 23, 1923 in Fries, VA to Edgar and Jessie Lowery Moran. Mrs. Jolley was a member of Beulah Land Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bon S. Jolley, son; Richard Earl Jolley, brothers; Charles Moran, Eugene Moran, Alfred Moran, Billy Moran and Robert Moran, sisters; Gaynelle Brickie and Olene Moran. Survivors include: daughter; Lucille Brooks of Dobson, brothers; Wesley Moran of Virginia and Ray Moran of Virginia, sisters; Thelma Thomas of Virginia, Evalyn M. Ayers of Virginia, Louise M. Lee of Virginia, Irene Moran of Virginia and Ruth McFalls of Virginia, grandchildren; Keith Jolley and wife Nancy, Lana Longworth and husband Terry, Cynthia Pendergrass and husband Neal and Mack Brooks and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Beulah Land Baptist Church with Rev. Junior Harrold and Rev. Terry Longworth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030. The family would like to thank Mrs. Wanda Dimmette, Mountain Valley Hospice, Dr. Carol Albright and Dr. Wilson Griffin for the loving care they gave Mrs. Jolley.
