Mr. Charles William Bauguess, age 85 passed away Monday, July 8, 2013. Mr. Bauguess was born August 22, 1927 in Wilkes County to John and Verna Ingool Bauguess. Mr. Bauguess was a member of the Church of God in Hickory. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Arvin Bauguess, Clyde Bauguess, Jim Bauguess and Vaughn Bauguess. Survivors include: Wife; Retha McCann Bauguess of the home, sons; Ricky Bauguess and wife Dianna of State Road, Larry Bauguess and wife TJ of Tarboro, daughter; Judy Moody of State Road, brothers; June Bauguess, Bobby Bauguess, Fred Bauguess and Zeno Bauguess, sisters; Doris Duncan, Patsy Dudley and Selma Golden, two grandchildren, Brandon Bauguess, Seth Bauguess and wife Rebecca. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Rocky Ford Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
