Mrs. Scharlotte Burnett Matthews, age 69 passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013. Mrs. Matthews was born January 18, 1944 in Galax Virginia to Harry Waller and Ethel Snow Waller. Surviors include: her husband, Terry Wayne Matthews of the home; sons, Terry Wayne Matthews Jr . of Jonesville and Rod Steven Burnette of Elkin; brother, Gary Waller of Elk Creek, VA ;grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Burnett and Amber Burnett. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Beulah Land Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
