Ms. Char Lynn Winebarger, age 43 passed away Monday, April 8, 2013. Ms. Winebarger was born January 4, 1970 in Anchorage, Alaska to Elizabeth Nance and Cecil Winebarger. Ms. Winebarger was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and a member of WOM #1. She was very dedicated to her faith in the Lord. Ms. Winebarger was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ike Nance; maternal grandmother, Reba Wilcoxen Nance Vestal; step maternal grandfather, Homer Vestal; paternal grandfather, Charlie Winebarger; paternal grandmother, Faye W. Hayes and step grandfather, Harold Hayes. Survivors include: her daughter, Hannah E. Winebarger of Elkin; parents, Cecil Winebarger and Elizabeth Winebarger of Elkin; sisters, Deda Pickett and husband Don of State Road and Reja Couch and husband Dale of Yadkinville; nephews, Ike Winebarger, Jake Pickett and Kellen Couch; niece, Raechel Harris and great nephew, Thomas Winebarger. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend to all with a beautiful, everlasting and contagious smile. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Whitley officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
