Fredrick Dudley

August 15, 1938 — February 9, 2013

Mr. Fredrick March Dudley, age 74, passed away Saturday, February 09, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Dudley was born August 15, 1938 in Surry County to Lee and Sarah Louise Bowers Dudley. Mr. Dudley retired from Clark Construction and from the Army National Guard. He was a member of Jesus Life Ministries in Moravian Falls. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a step-son, Terry Plumley, two sisters, Nancy Bottoms, Lana Harrison, three brothers, Odell Dudley, Leroy Dudley and L.D. Dudley. Survivors include his wife, Betty B. Dudley of the home, three step-sons, Gary Plumley of Prosperity, WVA, Jeffery Plumley of Jonesville, Johnny Plumley and wife Linda of Mocksville, a brother, James Dudley and wife Pam of Jonesville, ten grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Jesus Life Ministries with Rev. Kevin Brinegar officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
