Jimpsey Duward Fowler

Mr. Jimpsey Duward Fowler, age 84 passed away, Friday, January 25, 2013. Mr. Fowler was born February 17, 1928 in Tabor City, NC to Coley and Flossie Harrellson Fowler. Mr. Fowler was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII. He also served as Scout Master and was an Eagle Scout. Mr. Fowler was a retired pharmacist and a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Coley Fowler, Jr. and sister, Letha Crowley. Survivors include: his wife, Jean S. Fowler of the home; sons, Mark Fowler and wife Teresa of Kernersville, John Fowler of Las Vegas and Craig Fowler of Winston-Salem; daughter, Janet Crump and husband Tommy of Elkin; brother, Nathan Fowler of South Carolina; grandchildren, Jordan Fowler and Brett Lewis; great grandchildren, Gabriel Fowler, Jaidan Fowler and Abigail Lewis. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunrise Cemetery in Jonesville. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Jonesville with Rev. Roger Hensley and Rev. Pam Anthony officiating. Family will receive friends following the memorial. The family request that memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Jonesville, Post Office Box 98, Jonesville, NC 28642
