Mr. Tommy Alton Wall, age 79 passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. Mr. Wall was born September 8, 1933 in Surry County to Rev. Avery James Wall, Sr. and Dora Carter Wall. Mr. Wall retired after forty years of service from Chatham Manufacturing and was a Veteran of the US Army. Mr. Wall was a member of Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wall was preceded in death by his sisters, Frances Wall Stanley and Carnimelle Wall Williams and brother, Avery James Wall, Jr. Survivors include: His wife, Gilly W. Wall of the home; sons, Douglas D. Wall and wife Debbie of Richmond, VA and G. Trent Wall and wife Lisa of Patrick Springs, VA and grandchildren, Eryn Wall, Tyler Wall, Trevor Wall and Grace Wall. Funeral Services will be conducted, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 at Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness with Rev. Kenny Gunn, Rev. Roger Collins and Rev. James Williams officiating, burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
