Mrs. Rosie Lee Royal Wilmoth Sebastian, age 86, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012. Mrs. Sebastian was born March 14, 1926 in Ashe County to Treley and Mary Perry Royal. Mrs. Sebastian was a loyal member of Gid Branch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sebastian was preceded in death by her first husband, Kermit Wilmoth, her second husband, John A. Sebastian, son, Junior Lee Wilmoth and grandson, Bobby Wilmoth. Survivors include: her sons, Billy Dean Wilmoth and wife Janice of Traphill, Bobby E. Wilmoth and wife Rosalene of Hamptonville and Jerry Wayne Wilmoth and wife Earlene of Elkin; daughters, Betty Casey and husband Carl of Traphill, Jean Cox and husband Ray of Thurmond, Wanda Young and husband Robert of Elkin and Linda Freeman and husband Tim of Elkin; brothers, Freeman Royal and wife Della Mae of North Wilkesboro and Edward Royal and wife Hayley of Wilkesboro; sister, Zena Roten of Laurel Springs; twenty grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Gid Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Royal and Rev. Wendell White officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. The family would like to thank the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice and Sherry Tilley for their care.
