Mrs. Louise Hall Hinson, age 84, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin. Louise was born October 16, 1928 in Stokes County to John Roy and Jennie Smith Hall. Mrs. Hinson was a member of a ladies bowling league through the Elkin YMCA in the early 1960's. She retired from Washington Mills and Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a caregiver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Aubrey Hall and his wife Doris. Survivors include: son, Randy Hinson and wife Sena of Elkin; grandchildren, Whitney Speer of Elkin and Allie Hinson of Raleigh; great granddaughter, Aubrey Speer of Elkin; special friend, Lucy Holbrook of Elkin and a special cousin, Katherine Fain of Elkin. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Mulberry Primitive Baptist Church cemetery in Elkin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
