Mrs. Lula Mae White Caudle, age 72, passed away, Monday, October 8, 2012. Mrs. Caudle was born February 7, 1940 in Surry County to John Emory and Cindy Lou Cave White. Mrs. Caudle was a member of Elkin Valley Baptist Church and a former member of Eastern Star. Mrs. Caudle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a licensed CNA. In addition to her parents he was preceded in death by her four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include: husband, Gilmer R. Caudle of the home; daughter, Dawn Sherie Hoffman Jarvis of Winston-Salem, stepdaughter, Sandra Caudle Wingate and her husband Larry of Greensboro; brother, Robert Lee White and his wife Kay of Siloam; best friend and sister, Shelby Jean Childress of Thurmond; special nieces, Angie Walker and Melba Fulton; nephews, Marty Childress and John L. Goforth, Jr.; special friends, Linda Reid, Brenda Campbell and Addie Childress; granddaughter, Rene Marie Jacobs and her husband Ryan; great grandchildren, Makayla Jacobs and Landon Jacobs; step grandsons, Paul Wingate and his wife Brook and Don Wingate and his wife Erin and step great granddaughter, Kate Wingate. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m at Elkin Valley Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Blevins, Rev. Brian Cardwell and Rev. Zach White officiating. Burial will follow in Elkin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
