Mr. Perry Eugene McKesson, age 53 of Jonesville, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born October 19, 1958 in Burke County to Mary Corpening McKesson and Marvin McKesson. Mr. McKesson was a member of New Covenant Christian Church in Wilkesboro. Survivors include his wife, Donna P. McKesson of the home, parents, Mary and Marvin McKesson of Marion; sons, Kelly Eugene McKesson of Florida and James Jordan McKesson of Jonesville; step daughters, Christie Parsons of Winston-Salem and Karen Ingram of Virginia; Goddaughter, Elizabeth Hatcher of Mt. Airy; brother, Marvin McKesson, Jr. and his wife Latisha of Greenville; nieces, Alicia McKesson and Bianca McKesson; grandchildren, Kasen McKesson, Krisitan McKesson, and Gabriel McKesson; one great grandson, Kiavan Ingram. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 25, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at New Covenant Christian Church in Wilkesboro. Burial will follow at Piney Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ronda. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the church.
