Loretta Ann McGrady, age 42 of Elkin, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012. She was born January 28, 1970 in Wilkes County to Pauline Johnson and Gary Lee Wagoner. Loretta was a member of Little Stone Mountain Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Janie and John R. Johnson and paternal grandparents, Beulah and Wedford Wagoner. Survivors include: mother, Pauline Walsh and her husband Gary of Jonesville; father, Gary Lee Wagoner and his wife Bonnie of Wilkesboro; daughters, Katelyn Elizabeth Southard and Sarah Elizabeth Southard; brothers, Claude Brooks of Jonesville, David Walsh of Jonesville, Jay Walsh of Hamptonville, Jimmy Brooks of Austin, and Jerome Wagoner of Millers Creek; sisters, Sharon Hines of Taylorsville, Donna Webb of East Bend, Marilyn Sales of Statesville, Irene Owens of Shelby, Debbie Causby of Shelby, Janet Cockerham of Jonesville, and Missy Walsh of Elkin; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service with a graveside service immediately following at Little Stone Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Garwood Caudill officiating. The family would like to thank the many family and friends for their support and care.
