Janice Caroline Williams

Janice "Jan" Caroline Williams, age 45 of Clemmons, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012. She was born November 23, 1966 in Surry County to Elmore B. Williams and Barbara Hewitt Williams. Jan was a member of Winston-Salem First Church of which she dearly loved. She was known as being dedicated to her profession and taking care of her patients. Jan was caring and loving and loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Williams Gregory; great nephew, Dakota Chase Gregory; grandparents, George F. and Helen Hewitt and Lee Roy and Ethel Williams. Survivors include: mother, Barbara H. Williams of Elkin, brother, Mike Williams and his wife Debbie of Elkin; sister, Susan Williams of Elkin; brother-in-law, Tommy Gregory of Millers Creek; niece, Brooke Gregory and her fiancé Joseph Lyles; nephews, Scott Gregory and his wife April, Steven Williams and his wife Amanda, Jason Williams and his wife Kimberly; great nieces and nephews, Ethan, Faith, Jake, and Emme Williams; special friends, Chloe and Waddell Holcomb, Gina Johnson, Dawn Barker, April and Hugh Weatherman, Patty Sprinkle, Keith Carter, Steve Bailey, Regina Reavis, and Ann Sales. The family will have a private memorial service at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glenn Allen, VA 23058.
