Charles Junior Prevette

October 26, 1947 — January 30, 2012

Mr. Charles Junior Prevette, age 64 of Jonesville, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Prevette was born October 26, 1947 in Surry County to Grabel Prevette and Martha Ledbetter Prevette. He was a member of Grace Full Gospel Church and was retired from Unifi. Mr. Prevette was an US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam war. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Prevette. Survivors include: his wife, Nancy Pruitt Prevette of the home; son, Derek Joseph Prevette of the home; daughters, Sunnie Maria Prevette and Carrie Jayne Prevette, both of the home; brothers, Warren Prevette of Jonesville and Gerald "Bud" Prevette of Jonesville; sisters, Faye Kimmer of Jonesville and Barbara Parsons of Jonesville; and a special pet, Othello. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Full Gospel Church with Rev. Bobby Prevette, Rev. Don Mullins, Rev. Tommy Nixon, and Rev. Don Ball officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. The family requests that memorials be made to Grace Full Gospel Church c/o Rev.
