Donald Ray Bryant, age 61, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Bryant was born June 30, 1950 in Surry County to Loyd Harrison and Verlie Snow Bryant, Sr. Mr. Bryant was a retired pipe fitter and welder and was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include; two sons, Jason Bryant and wife Amanda and Seth Bryant and fiancé Betty Bosley all of Elkin, two brothers, Lloyd Bryant, Jr. and wife Doris of State Road, twin brother, Ronald Gray Bryant and wife Helen of Mt. Airy, a sister Linda Faye Mecham and husband Tom of Lillington, NC, grandchildren, Lakan Bryant, Lauren Bryant, Krista Bryant, Ricky Sullivan, Dasiy Sullivan, Danielle Lynn, Junior Maisonet. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 31, 2012 at 11:00 am at Welcome Home Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ricky Johnson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8pm.
