Elkin, NC Mrs. Elizabeth Jenkins Page, age 90, of Johnson Ridge Road, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Hugh Chatham Nursing Center. Mrs. Page was born August 2, 1915, in Muscogee County, Georgia to Clyde & Julia Lloyd Jenkins. Mrs. Page was retired from the First Baptist Church of Columbus, Ga., was a member of Wynnbrook Baptist Church of Columbus, Ga., and attended Elkin Presbyterian Church in Elkin, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Zeff Page. Survivors include two daughters, Jane Page Rice Shoemaker and husband Ralph M. of Elkin, NC, Sandra Page Williams and husband L.A. of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren, J. Derrill Rice and wife Lori of Elkin, NC, W. Alan Rice and wife Wendy of Statesboro, GA.; four great grandchildren, Caroline & Austin Rice of Elkin, NC, Shelby & Madison Rice of Statesboro, Ga. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 19, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Gardens by Rev. Brian Rummage. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Elkin Presbyterian Church, 151 Hillcrest Drive, Elkin, NC 28621.
